David Byrne’s TED talk: Design and Musical Creativity

A fascinating discussion about how spatial design, context, and technology relates to creativity in musical composition through the evolution of musical history (from Mr. Talking Head himself). It’s a generalist argument that Byrne argues challenges preconceived understandings of affect and adaptivity. Further evidence that we’re in the midst of a “spatial turn” in multiple disciplines, perhaps.
